- K.CC.A.2 Count forward beginning from a given number within the known sequence (instead of having to begin at 1).
- 1.NBT.A.1 Count to 120, starting at any number less than 120. In this range, read and write numerals and represent a number of objects with a written numeral.
✅Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills:
- MA.K.5.A Algebraic reasoning. The student applies mathematical process standards to identify the pattern in the number word list. The student is expected to: recite numbers up to at least 100 by ones and tens beginning with any given number.
✅Virginia Standards of Learning:
- NS.K.3.a The student will count forward orally by ones from 0 to 100;
- NS.K.3.c The student will identify the number after, without counting, when given any number between 0 and 100 and identify the number before, without counting, when given any number between 1 and 10; and
